How do I install Second Quill?
Download the Windows installer, run it, and launch Second Quill from the Start menu. See Documentation for Ollama and API key setup.
Do I need an account?
The free tier works without signing in. An account is required for store purchases, syncing entitlements across devices, and gift purchases.
Why can I only use 3 devices?
Entitlements are licensed per person, not per household of unlimited machines. The default limit is 3 devices; contact support if you need an exception.
How does offline mode work?
Sign in while online at least once every 3 days. Purchased themes and packs stay cached on your device during that window.
Beta purchases
Store checkout is disabled during public beta. You can browse the catalog and try the free tier in the app.
